Past the current week, Long Range Outlook runs entirely on state-calibrated peak-rut timing, grounded in the well-established fact that whitetail rut timing is remarkably consistent year over year — driven far more by day length than by weather, temperature, or moon phase.
Only the current week's number blends in live weather. Every week beyond that is pure calendar — and the app tells you that directly on the card, so you always know exactly what you're looking at: "Rut timing is calendar-driven and holds up months out. Only this week blends live weather — beyond that, the score reflects the rut calendar and this property's terrain alone."
It's explicitly not a solunar or moon-phase tool.

Moon illumination itself is computed directly from real lunar-phase astronomy, not pulled from a bought solunar feed.
